Wildlife is abundant in sea, loch, river, woodland, mountain and moorland. You may glimpse a salmon leaping on its way from the sea, a golden eagle soaring over the crags of Ben Resipol, a stag at bay in Glen Tarbert or a rare pine marten right at your door.
Remarkable and varied birdlife to be seen in the area and the possibility of seeing otters for the very patient. Dolphins have also been seen performing their antics in the loch.
